WHO IS JANAE HALL?

Typically referred to as "the really tall girl with the curly hair."

Janae is a staff writer on Zokie of Planet Ruby for Nickelodeon Animation at Nelvana and currently working on several unannounced projects in production and development at various other studios. Before that, she was a staff writer on The Owl House at Disney Television Animation and has written for projects at Warner Bros. Animation, Bento Box, Hasbro, Spinmaster, and more.

Janae has degrees in Illustration & Animation as well as Film & Media Studies from the University of Kansas, where she played volleyball on the School’s Division 1 Volleyball team that went to the Final Four in 2015. She currently lives in Glendale with her partner and their two pets: a very fluffy cat and the world’s clingiest dog. When Janae’s not writing about kids toying with the supernatural or getting into all manner of hijinks, she can usually be found baking, gardening, surfing, or learning some other odd new skill that’ll only come in handy in the unlikely event of a zombie apocalypse (ask her about her wilderness first responder training)!
